About The Artist

Katherine M. Schneider studied printmaking and painting at the College of Charleston. Further studies included an apprenticeship in the studio of sculptor Willard Hirsch and the study of portraiture with Daniel E. Greene in New York.
She has served on the Board of Directors of Print Studio South, Charleston, SC and is a member of the Portrait Society of America (PSA), Oil Painters of America (OPA), Charleston Outdoor Painters Association (COPA), Plein Air Landscape Society (PALS), and The Charleston Artist Guild.
