Katherine M Schneider was awarded an Honorable Mention for her painting "Old Boardwalk on the Creek" at the 2011 CAG Signature Art Show in Charleston, SC.
Over 100 artworks by 36 distinguished artists were juried into this year's annual fine art competition at the Historic Charleston Visitors Center.

The show judge, John Hull made the following comments about Schneider's painting "Old Boardwalk on the Creek". "This painting demonstrates good colour and a strong composition. The push/pull with dark in the foreground and lighter values to the back accomplishes a nice pattern for the viewer. There are pleasing little red notes for impact."
